The truth is if the Palestinians stopped killing Israelis the war would end immediately. The numbers you quote is because of two factors. 1) Israeli military is better trained, armed and organized. 2) After attacking Israel the Palestinians hide among the general populace hoping the Israelis won't retaliate.
