The election is already rigged. What percentage of people want a viable choice of Biden v. Trump, probably not that many.

But that's what people get, and they have to suck it up for a bunch of people who like their politics enterfuckingtaining.

The election is already rigged. What percentage of people want a viable choice of Biden v. Trump, probably not that many.

But that's what people get, and they have to suck it up for a bunch of people who like their politics enterfuckingtaining.

I agree, it would be nice if we had more say in who the parties nominate.

But only 10% of us participate in primaries.
Most of the alternative candidates dropped out of the race before Iowa even started.
None of the Alternatives were really much better. (Although ANYTHING would be an improvement over Trump.)

And finally- get this - It's kind of impossible for a party to refuse an incumbent President renomination. Trump isn't an incumbent, but since many Republicans operate under the delusion his defeat was illegitimate, they can't refuse him, either.

So here we are, the race no one wanted, between two guys who are too old for the job.
