Here we see Jack Smith having demanded redactions of matter that had no need to have redacted and were merely to protect him, Merrick Garland, and the White House from having their conspiracy exposed.

Smith does not make those decisions of redaction for NARA nor for the White House.

NARA, per protocol notified the DOJ and Whitehouse that as they were sorting Trump's presidential records returned they had found mingled, marked classified Top secret and Secret documents....over 100 of them in the 15 boxes returned by Trump.

Per protocol NARA notified the Doj/FBI for the breach. FBI needed to retrieve the documents and assess the harm.... But they could not do so, because they were in with the Trump Presidential records, and by law, can't touch for 5 years without permission from the residing President or former President....

NARA followed procedures and would not release the classified docs till they got the White House okay...which they got.
