Is it the poorly educated or the highly educated that have brought ruin to the environment?

Machines ruin the environment ... as well as vaccines ... 7 billion dead from Covid is good for the environment ... machines and vaccines come from education ... does that mean education is to blame? ...

True education/knowledge is necessary, but when an educator knows in his or her heart that what they are teaching is likely to be abused then they share the blame for the misuse. Frankenstein monsters are harmless if kept in the laboratory, but unleased onto the public they wreak havoc. AI, created by the "best and brightest" has the potential to be an unimaginably destructive monster. :omg:

It is the extreme ideological people that are ruining the environment. And those that put profit over the welfare of their own descendants. Exxon did it's own studies in early 1980's, and the conclusion was that if we kept adding GHG's to the atmosphere, the result would be catastrophic. Then they kept that study secret, and fought every attempt to inform the public about the ongoing danger. And our right wing idiots never bothered to research the facts, preferring to live in their alternative universe of ideological idiocy.

Then Exxon was wrong.

So you'd blame scientists in the Manhattan Project before politicians in Tokyo? ... seem screwy to me but have at it ...

You are 10 years out of date fella pushing a pile of worn out lies that were fully addressed long ago.

Here is more showing leftist democrats are full of lies and defying the courts in their irrational jihad against Exxon.

IN DEFIANCE OF JUDGE’S RULING IN CLIMATE CASE, NEW YORK ATTORNEY GENERAL REFUSES TO COMPLY WITH DISCOVERY REQUESTS

Guest post by David Middleton

Excerpt:

MARCH 12, 2019 | SPENCER WALRATH

"The New York Attorney General’s Office (OAG) is refusing to comply with ExxonMobil’s discovery requests even after the New York Supreme Court ruled the company could proceed with discovery related to the AG’s investigation of its climate change disclosures. The company is seeking documents that would support its allegation that the OAG is pursuing its investigation in bad faith.

Since the OAG initiated its investigation into ExxonMobil more than three years ago, its arguments have shifted multiple times, as each of the allegations of fraud has lacked evidence. However, in addition to highlighting the questionable legal agenda, recent court filings demonstrate how the OAG has methodically denied ExxonMobil’s discovery requests in an effort to delay the exercise, possibly in the hope that the OAG can convince the judge to dismiss the company’s defenses."

Long list of sources for further reading about the idiotic persecution of Exxon in the bottom of the article.

The Manhattan Project wasn't a for profit venture.

Corporations are for profit ventures ... not science ... again, why blame scientists for corporate greed? ...

You worked your career in a damn mill and blame scientists for the environmental destruction you personally are to blame for ... sad ...

Corporations depend on science for innovations, technology, chemistry, etc. It's an unholy alliance i.e. Monsanto.
