Obesity is considered a problem because it significantly increases the risk of developing several serious health conditions like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, stroke, high blood pressure, joint pain, and sleep apnea, ultimately impacting quality of life and leading to potential premature death; essentially, carrying excess body fat can disrupt various bodily functions and lead to chronic diseases.

According to the CDC, non-Hispanic Black adults in the United States have the highest prevalence of obesity among all racial groups, with nearly 50% of African Americans classified as obese, significantly higher than other racial groups like non-Hispanic white adults; this disparity is particularly pronounced among African American women, who experience the highest rates of obesity within the Black population.

3. But among the Woke/Marxist coterie, one must never criticize our Black brethren. True for Demorats who would never win another national election without the Black vote.

4. So science must be bent to serve politics.

5. Rather than offer plans to mitigate obesity......these racists....er, good Liberals encourage it:

"WC4BL also promotes what appear to be significant medical falsehoods. For example, they seek to “deconstruct the falsehood that weight equates to health, including ending the use of BMI.”

White Coats for Black Lives, a radical socialist organization of doctors and medical students, is set to racialize the practice of medicine.

"Medical providers must unlearn the false equivalency between weight and health, and fat people must have access to affirming healthcare free of stigma and guilt."

Science has fallen prey to a political narrative.

Eliminate sugar, cut down on refined carbs, decrease snacking and engage in at least part-time fasting.

Some rapid fire ideas to cut down obesity without even going into exercise regiments.

Obesity runs in my family. I am the only male who has never exceeded 300 pounds. But I gotta tell ya, obesity is not the scourge that it once was. They have meds now that can keep you alive for a very long time, even if you are fat as a pig. The rest of your body deteriorates (mainly hips and knees), but none of that is life-threatening.

If obesity is killing Black folks disproportionately, that's probably because they are not getting good medical care. It doesn't have to be a death sentence.
