One doesn't have to look very hard to see headlines that feature expressions like "embattled," "eroded public confidence," and the like when describing the U.S. Supreme Court. But those of us who are paying attention can see that the only thing embattling the Supreme Court are the baseless slanders created by Democrats in Congress and a compromised Press.

For example, “Now more than ever before, as a result of information gathered by subpoenas, we know the extent to which the Supreme Court is mired in an ethical crisis of its own making,” Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin (D-IL) said in a statement.

However, the Senate Judiciary committee fails totally when trying to come up with something...

"For over 90 pages, the Judiciary Committee report details plane trips taken, books sold, and flags flown by justices from the Left and Right, but not once does the report come close to identifying an instance of a party with business before the Supreme Court influencing a justice’s decision."
"
The fact is, this Supreme Court is the best we have had in generations - since before Earl Warren became Chief Justice - when it comes to applying the actual Constitution, and not the Constitution Leftists wish they had, to the cases that come before it.

As I frequently write in this forum, it is a constant wonder whether Leftists are stupid or evil. They constantly conclude that a mountain of baseless accusations constitutes proof of wrongdoing, and when talking about "corruption" they can often come up with the quid, but can't seem to find any quo. Here's a good summary for those who care about reality.

There's good reason why public confidence is eroded in he SC. Being a judge, you're not supposed to act like a politician.....so..there you go.
Overturning precedent decisions based on religious belief (don't give me the whole Constitution/states rights crap) is going to make people angry.
You're wielding the court to return the country to God. ^Shrug^.
People (even a lot of conservatives) are going to be unhappy.

The whole court is hopelessly compromised. The building needs a flush handle.

The Robert’s Court is a disgrace

Not just reversing decisions they had claimed were off limits but in their refusal to enforce ethical standards on their members.

If you think that RvW was overturned because of religious fervor or partisanship, you need to write a letter to your High School and demand a refund of the tuition that was paid for your Civics class. You learned nothing.

RvW was the worst case of "legislating from the bench" in the last century.

Seriously, if you don't understand that, you are ignorant of the most basic functions of the Federal government. RvW was the Constitutional equivalent of a crew of MLB umpires telling batters that if they wanted to, they could run to 3rd base, then to 2nd, then to first. And having that rule apply prospectively to every subsequent game in all of MLB.

If that is the case, Conservative Justices should have declared so when they were confirmed. Each was asked their position on Rowe v Wade and each acted offended that it was even brought up.
Rowe v Wade is settled law
They lied

It's just the Washington Examiner's pathetic contribution in the war on facts. And you fell for it.

It is a simple process
When someone offers members of the court “Free Stuff”

They just need to reply……..Thanks, but it does not look right

It was. Plain and simple. This was a precedent law. Decided by judges that knew what was coming. It was overturned because the current conservative judges knew that God frowned upon it, and then the conservative judges hid behind the ole..."states rights" BS. So let the good Christian Republican red state legislatures do God's work. :) While we wash our hands of it.

The state has ZERO to say about abortion.
The FED has ZERO to say about abortion.
YOU have ZERO to say about abortion....as do I. :)
