There will be no government shutdown resolution as top Democrats are working feverishly on a hostage release comedy skit for SNL. So far the front runner is a "Walking Dead" skit with zombie hostages trying to eat their welcoming relatives. The Democrats howled with laughter, but John Fetterman looked perplexed. He stood up and said "Hey guys, wouldn't it be a better idea if just this once, we gave President Trump credit for his leadership in this monumental achievement?" There was a momentary pause and then an even louder explosion of laughter. Fetterman got up and left the room muttering "Good God, what a bunch of lunatics".
