I'm a heavy twitter (X) user. And I'm going to give you a case study from this morning. Lefty is becoming unhinged. Lefty does not like that the border has been closed, and Lefty does not want to hear that our economic problems are mainly due to 37 trillion dollars of debt, and the bill has come due, poor government policies, and a wide open border for decades. You can't reason with Lefty any longer, they listen to nothing that the right says, they present almost no logical arguments, and are great at calling names like "racist" (there's an original one).

I am not optimistic with where things are headed either economically or politically. 2/3 of the country can barely pay their bills any longer. And if anyone thought Trump was going to fix things in 9 months, you're just not very bright. Trump is trying - but it's going to take time, and plenty of it to change things.

Neither is Ray Dalio (look him up if you don't know who he is).

The way I see it, there are three options:
1. MAGA takes over and needs to use the military to put down the left.
2. The left takes over, shuts down MAGA and turns the country Socialist
3. The country peacefully splits.

So which is it going to be?

My take is that the vile dems have had it their way for so long that they are acting out like petulant children.

Petulant children exhibit excessive irritability, impatience, and emotional outbursts, often struggling to regulate their emotions effectively.

But, you're right, democrats had 20% inflation under Biden and that inflation is cooked into the books so, even if inflation goes down to the accepted 2% (which it is fairly close to), that is 2% on top of democrat's 20%. Prices can't go back down unless you have deflation. So, the unanswered question is, "Are voters going to blame Trump and the Republicans for prices being up 22% over the last four plus years?

I told her she wasn't going to do anything.

The name calling started. I was a MAGA ass-clown or whatever.

I responded that I didn't even vote in 2024 and I am tired of the team R versus Team D nonsense, while both parties rob us blind.

She didn't want to hear that and resorted to more name calling and I had to block her.
