The Colorado shooter, why don't we know what gun he used?

The guy before the Muslims killed 14 people...the shooter in Colorado.....does anyone know what kind of fun he used..? we knew almost immediately what gun the Muslims used, but so far I still can't find out what he used......

I am thinking it wasn't an AR-15.......does anyone know?

I found this, seems odd-
Three of the four suspects had guns that were purchased legally. It's not being disclosed how or when the suspect of a shooting at the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood acquired his weapons because the suspect is alive and the investigation is ongoing.
