I tried to watch many of the Biden administrations hearings with the Congress. It pissed me off that the Bidenistas showed up at Congress refusing to tell the Congress anything. Sure if the witnesses were asked for their name, they mumbled it out. But the Truth? It was totally absent. Even the left wingers Bill Maher told this same story. I am happy the Trump team is rooting out waste, fraud and stuff that the feds do not need to do. The Feds did fine before creating the Department of education. Education is in the duty list of all states. The Education department gave your money back to states with tons of orders. States are not to be ordered around by the feds.
Let's discuss this with humility.

I will only take issue with that statement because it is false. Education is many states was an afterthought for the poor and minorities in this country. You cannot change the fact that it was horrific!

On everything else, I agree!

The feds stayed out of Education is what I was praising. As to states, as you said it had places of good and places of suck this.

You're joking, right? Even tRump doesn't know half of what he's doing!

The Biden administration was ultra secretive. Trumps is wide open.

Had the Biden people been half as open as Trump is, the nation would have been livid. Without Trump's openness, the democrats right now would have nothing, NOTHING, they could he throwing at him to stick to the wall.

If anything, Trump is actually victimizing himself from his own transparency.

And here is another thought: has anyone realized that of all the millions and millions Trump spent on legal defense, days in court, on being arrested, accused of trying to overturn an election, of being booked, charged, photographed and convicted, called a dictator and everything, that Trump could have spared himself of ALL OF THAT had he simply done for himself what Biden did at the end of his own term.

The students in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, and many others kindly disagree.
You don't understand.

Yes. I knew all of that. I have a master's degree in Education. Apparently this is your first experience with the history of the Education Department and what it was like before. I highlighted it for you. I graduated from high school before this ever existed. It was a very bad experience for kids who were poor or had special needs, especially in the south.

No, I have personal experience going back to 1944 in public schools. I can't speak for the South since My education was in California and spanned up to 1968 in college.

So, in other words, you don't know. Back then, if you didn't speak English, you got no education.

Man, you are OLD! In 1968, I was in 2nd grade.

Admiral, I hope for your sake you get to be as old and happy as I am. I do not assume that when things are bad in TN that they are that bad for the rest of the states.

To have "experience" in 1944 - one would need to be born at minimum by 1935 - that would make you presently 90 years old- any other stories/claims at hand?

Your numbers are wrong. I was born in 1938 and actually experienced FDR and the later presidents. I learned lessons from every former president.

So you were a first grader in 1944 - aka no "experience" whatsoever. And you claim to be 87 years old - I ain't believing you.
But doesn't matter anyway.

They were. I grew up in Louisville KY. there were no handicapped kids in school. The schools were segregated and our city schools were horrible. I taught in the same neighborhood where I was born 40 years later. It was predominantly immigrant kids and illegals. My cousin attended that school about 35 years before that. It was the worst middle school in the state for test scores.
