Does vampirism actually exist?
Is there a reason they were doing change of function research on a bat virus?
Perhaps the virus makes it easier for the Vampires to feed on humans like the Wraith in Stargate Atlantis.
Or maybe the virus is designed to turn everyone into Vampires.
Is there some lab out there doing gain of function research on lupines?
Will mankind become just a bookmark in history as Vampires or Werewolves emerge as the dominant race?
Then to make it easier they came up with a RNA based vaccine.
The future looks bleak!!!
