Im watching this programme again on the BBC.
The image we are given on Iran is very skewed.
I was struck by the fact that the Iranians build statues to poets and writers,
They re a cultured and aincient people.
Contrast that with america which builds statues to dead slavers.

and the UK builds statues to dead tyrants ..ie .. kings and queens ..

But Muhammad owned, sold and bought slaves.
And the Muslims still practice slavery.

Why do yoy celebrate the war to preserve slavery.
Most countries gave it up. You fought a war to keep it.
That is not true.
There are very few people who celebrate the civil war or who support slavery
But there are people who commemorate the civil war soldiers.

Tezas is the only place in the world that went to war twice to defend slavery. Once against Mexico and once against the US.
What sort of shitty people come from there. ?

But you had to time travel 162 years and project upon the present-day population.
There are not any supporters of slavery in 2026.

Yes, this is true, I need to watch this show.

It's also seemingly unknown to the clique of fantastically uneducated magats who loiter in this forum, that Iran is one of the safest places for Orthodox Jews. There are hundreds of synagogues and far less antisemitism than we see in Western countries.

Sad to think these Iranian Jews are at risk of death should Israel (and its servant the USA) choose to bomb the country (which is starting to look likely), the irony.

It's also somewhat amusing that the magats who watch the above video will be at a loss for words of kindness or appreciation, they can only hate and so that's what they'll do.
