If Kushner couldn't get a security clearance because of certain financial dealings and misstatements on some of his documents, the Admin (his father-in-law) would certainly know the actual details of these situations and must have deemed them unimportant. There is plenty of bureaucratic bullshit involved in a security clearance. If he couldn't pass it because of "X" and Trump knows that "X" would not get Kushner blackmailed, that X is not because Kushner is in the Russian's pocket, then of course he's going to approve Kushner continuing to work for him.

I think it's pretty amusing, though, that for a solid year we heard the right screeching that Clinton's email server was illegal and reckless as hell, yet now it's c r i c k e t s that another potential security breech is in place in high levels of the D.C. government.
