In the radio business this is what's known as dead air. LOL I'm a conservative but this is darn funny. Trump pacing the stage for 20 minutes, saying nothing.

Funny how Trump keeps encountering all these problems in every blue city he visits. Democrats are cheating their asses off as usual.
  • Trump holds a rally in Phili and the place is so hot on a cool day that people have heat stroke and they must shut it down, no AC, will not open the doors.
  • Now Trump holds a rally in Detroit and the mic stops working. Meanwhile as any technician will tell you, they always have more than one mic feed and spare, backup mics to prevent this.

Makes sense you worked for KUAF which is the public radio station and NPR affiliate in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Explains how you get paid by OUR tax dollars to spread Democrat socialism doctrine.

A 2012 Pew Research Center survey found that the NPR audience leans Democratic (17% Republican, 37% independent, 43% Democratic) and politically moderate (21% conservative, 39% moderate, 36% liberal).
A late 2019 survey, also by Pew, found that NPR's audience overwhelmingly leaned Democratic.

NPR really would be better off without federal money

Like an addict pacing waiting on his dealer.

In this instance Trump had every reason to be pissed off.
It took 20 minutes to get his mic working? Completely unacceptable.

True. I know for a fact that any competent stage technician team has a redundancy of mics, cables, even amps usually exactly to eliminate the chances for such a thing happening. 5 minutes tops. You keep dividing by twos--- the problem is either upstream or downstream until you locate the problem.

Obviously these people were supplied locally by some Detroit firm (maybe a crew that is assigned to work that building) and were screwing with Trump.

This is a good conspiracy theory -- I think Trump planned it to deflect attention from how the venue was so empty.

Good help is hard to find. Which has been especially true concerning Trump given his notoriety for firing people. And in this case, docking compensation.

Why didn't they just turn the music back on and let him sway and bob his way through another rally like last time?
