I“ve been looking for a forum where I can have an intelligent conversation with a liberal. I“ve been all over the internet and I still haven“t found an intelligent liberal.
Dear
ThankU4votingTrump:
I'm not only an intelligent liberal, but INCLUSIVE of diversity including political.
I believe in putting Constitutional values first, before party and especially party beliefs,
which I believe should be treated as religious beliefs are -- and not imposed on people by coercion through govt.
I align more with the Green Democrats who practice what they preach with INCLUSION (unlike the
biased bullying where Clinton elitists ran over and silenced their own party constituents in the name of winning)
and with the Libertarian/Tea Party Republicans who also put Constitutional principles first
which protect the beliefs and interests of ALL people regardless what our personal biases and preferences are.
(I get along worst with closeminded Democrats who just want what's convenient to keep their jobs / status quo / profits off bureaucratic partisan conflicts going as is, and any other fear-based groups (whether Christians or Republicans, LGBT or rabid radical "___fill in the blank with any label: _____" who only want to reject whatever they fear most as their motivation to mobilize. If they are not open to solutions, they freak out over any suggestion that involves working with the opposite group they make it their job to reject and blame as impossible to work with.)
I can still work with extremists on left and right who exclude each other, but they usually cannot stand dealing with me and end up yelling at me "for not denouncing or rejecting the group they target for blame." So I get blamed for including both extremes and everyone in between, where I am seen as "enabling or supporting" the bigotry by recognizing everyone's freedom of speech, "free choice," and exercise of their beliefs (but just don't approve anyone imposing THEIR beliefs through govt on anyone else who believes otherwise).
For people who require me to denounce the same things or support ramming their agenda through govt before I'm considered supporting their beliefs, no, I will not meet their standards where I believe it violates Constitutional principles and equal protections of rights and beliefs of others.
So I get in BIG trouble for things like treating
* LGBT "beliefs" equally as Christian beliefs which I consider equally faith based
and not something to harass people for what they believe or don't believe in,
* or right to life beliefs equally as right to health care beliefs, which I believe
should be equal free choices for taxpayers to fund separately according to their belifs.
Neither side wants to include the other side's beliefs while
they are too busy defending their own from being trampled on.
So that is the life of a progressive Constitutionalist, a Democrat who supports reinventing the party to fulfill its true goals of representing and uplifting minority interests otherwise exploited politically by dependence on govt.
And yes I voted for Trump and support the Republican party uniting around Constitutional values to get govt back on track by shifting control back to local people and states, while I support my fellow progressive Greens and Democrats focusing on restructuring the party representation into an internalized system of govt which trains members and leaders to manage their own resources, especially financial and business./property management, in order to become self-sufficient and self-governing.
Not your average "stereotypical" liberal Democrat
but an advocate combining the best ideas I have found among
the truly progressive Greens, Democrats, and even Socialists.
