An aircraft that went from the drawing board to the air in 24 months! Easy to fly and cheap to operate with a good air-to-ground support capability.
Reminds me of the F-5E. A great little aircraft that was also cheap to fly and easy to maintain. Never made it into the US arsenal because it didn't have the right political backing. They'd rather go with the F-22 or outrageous F-35.
