Texas college campus gun carrying leads to.... nothing, 2 years in no problems.

So how many murders have bee committed on College campuses that had gun free zones?
Beats me. How many accidental shooting deaths have occurred in gun free zones?
How many on purpose?
How many accidental shootings happen in gun free zones? Hundreds die each year in accidental shootings.

In gun free zones?
I don't believe there are any accidental shooting deaths in gun free zones.

Now you're catching on.....

Yes, they are much safer for it.

So where are the shootouts and mayhem?
Where is the decreased crime? There have been incidents of accidental discharge, someone easily could have been killed.

Yes, they are much safer for it.

As they're gunned down with zero resistance.

Weeks After Campus Carry Went Into Effect, an Accidental Misfire at Tarleton State

Nobody is denying that there have been a couple of accidental discharges in dorm rooms, neither of which resulted in injury.

Google, "SCC Statement on the Accidental Discharge at Tarleton State University."

When Texas's campus carry law was being considered, opponents didn't warn that there would be damage to floor tiles; they warned that people would be injured or killed. That hasn't happened.

Man accidentally shoots self at Texarkana College

This incident took place in an automobile parked in a campus parking lot. Texas's campus carry law only changed the laws in campus buildings and did not impact the rules or laws governing the possession of handguns in automobiles parked on campus.

Furthermore, this incident involved someone showing a handgun to a friend, which the campus carry law specifically makes a crime punishable by up to a year in jail, a fine of up to $4,000, and a seven-year revocation of the person's license to carry.

Crime down at most East Texas colleges
Crime is down at most Longview-area public and private colleges, with schools reporting decreases in major crimes such as rape and burglary over the past three years, according to data made public under the Clery Act. The act is a federal law that requires any college or university receiving federal funds to release information about campus security and crime each year.
Sounds like there was always very little crime and some of the decreases were before campus carry.
LeTourneau reported no major crimes, violence against women or weapons offenses. The school saw three drug abuse violations and one liquor law violation in 2016. The lack of crime is typical for LeTourneau, Schultz said.

Nobody promised a decrease in crime.

Google, "A Refresher on the Case for Campus Carry in Texas."

Then Google, "School shootings are very rare, and college campuses are statistically very safe. There is no need to allow concealed carry on campus."

The point of campus carry is to allow vetted, licensed adults on college campuses the same measure of personal protection they enjoy everywhere else. The preponderance of evidence suggests that doing so doesn't make anyone else less safe; therefore, there is no reason to place license to carry holders at the mercy of any criminal or lunatic willing to disregard an honor-system-based "gun-free" policy.

(NOTE: Although Students for Concealed Carry argues that campus carry is about personal protection, not campus protection, a local news station in Lubbock, Texas, did recently air a story titled "Texas Tech police say the campus carry law makes Tech safer.")

For further explanation of why Students for Concealed Carry (SCC) supports campus carry, check out the pinned thread on the CampusCarry Twitter page.
