Looks like the bean counters have decided what type of power will be best for powering data centers. Entirely predictable. You know how ultra liberal those woke Texans are.

All sources work as long as they are efficient and profitable. Texas still remains the most important state in your union be it solar, oil or hamster exercize wheel powered.

Texass don't do shit fer me.
You may just lack the "wow factor" to appreciate the attitude and work ethic.

You have to be cool, it's not like NY with people yelling everywhere looking for trouble. Just get the job done and let G-d tell the world.

Does this mean they will run those data centers a few hours a day and shut down for around 12-16 hours in a 24 hour cycle.

Count me out.

But of course you have never heard of grid scale batteries. Or wind turbines. And in the West US, pumped hydro.

Oh I know enough to know it is profoundly STUPID!

Batteries are toxic and expensive.

There is a huge wind power farm within 12 miles south of my house can see them easily I know what they are and how wasteful and stupid it is.

I live right off the 3/4 mile wide Columbia River being that way by a series of dams backfilling the river I am well aware of Hydroelectric power having visited most of the dams that impounds the Columbia river over the years, have you seen massive Grand Coulee Dam.

I have seen Ice Harbor dam on the Snake river many time too used to drive right across the top of the dam until terrorism attacks in 9/11/2001 stopped that fun and even went through the locks twice also go there several times a summer right behind the dam because it is a great place to swim and cook on a grille.

But of course you never learned how to make wise economic decisions that requires being solvent.

I think you can remove the qualification about being solvent.

He's simply not that good.

The guy in the OP is stupid. "Just under 1 Billion"......

If you listened to his babble, he cited the 97% of new energy lie that has been circulating and has been debunked thoroughly.

If I escape Canada.and America is kind enough to have me, Texas is where I will choose to reside. They are proud and free there, they reject all interference by foreign agencies in particular. This is quite important considering what I have gone through in Canada.

They are no more free than any other state, they used to be so boastful you couldn't stand to be around them, and they don't like Yankees and foreigners, so you'd be an outlier.
