It seems that way.

On Monday, Beijing announced sanctions against four U.S. politicians—Sen. Marco Rubio, Sen. Ted Cruz, Rep. Chris Smith, and ambassador for religious freedom Sam Brownback—who’ve been particularly critical of the Chinese government and its human rights record. This was in retaliation for Magnitsky Act sanctions that the Trump administration announced last week against four officials for human rights abuses in Xinjiang, including the Communist Party secretary for the region.

US to restrict visas for employees of Huawei and other Chinese tech firms.

Maybe it's time to totally decouple and forbid them the right to sell anything made in their country over here. That's right Apple. You wanna sell your shit in the US, make it here. And that goes for every other company too. Then we need to stop all travel to or from Communist China. We don't need China as much as they need us. And if any qualified Chinese person wants to go to our Universities, they will need to become citizens and pledge allegiance to the US first. If qualified Chinese people want to immigrate here and if they possess skills we need, bring them in and make them become citizens. The intelligent Chinese people would much rather live in freedom than under communism. ,

China is feeling their oats after unleashing the Wuhanvirus on the world.
They're gonna fuck up in the South China Sea which will be the flashpoint for a potential military engagement.
One thing is for sure, they are banking on Beijing Biden winning in Nov., so they'll be on just getting by good behavior til' then.

Also, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia all lay claim to parts of the South China Sea that China is laying claim to.
$500 million in trade passes through those shipping lanes, daily!

One of my brothers is a retired Marine who was stationed in Honolulu
( and still lives there on the big island ), about 15 years ago he told me this ...."The next war will be with China." And that we "...already have nukes aimed at them in Hawaii, South Korea and other islands and from submarines."

Good relations with North Korea was helping, but this virus has
set the clock back to zero it looks like..

Good insight!

China never banked on a Trump contesting their economic racketeering; especially when related to the WTO (World Trade Organization)!!
