Iran is a paper tiger, so I don’t think they’d have the balls to Assassinate Trump. But you never know because these are islamists we’re talking about.

There was no plot to assassinate Trump, it was a plot to assassinate a journalist in NY.

The guy in Iran is an ex-con who hired a couple of his prison pals to kill an anti-Iran journalist that the IRGC has been after for some time. The FBI contacted him over the phone (probably to offer him immunity in exchange for his testimony), and in one of the conversations he told them that the Jewish businessmen and Trump were also on the IRGC "wanted list".

The FBI is trying to frame it as a "plot against Trump" to curry favor because they all know their heads are on the chopping block now.
