My mother was pressured by many to have an abortion when she got pregnant with me as a teen. She resisted, even as I almost died at birth.

It's important for him to share this story. Life has meaning. I won't judge anyone else, but I know this, there are countless women who later in life regret having an abortion but there isn't one woman who regrets giving their child life.

I think most women feel forced into abortions, at least that is what statistics tell us.

My other half's mother went for an abortion and the machine didn't work.

That doesn't mean I oppose abortions.

Anyway God knows how many women try to do this to themselves so no one will find out. Maybe society needs to spend less $$ on --I dunno--studying cockroaches.. building fancy new buildings for the FBI when they don't operate in an unbiased manner --- and more $$ on people.. etc (so women won't feel so overwhelmed)
