State Rep. RJ May, a lawmaker facing a 10-count indictment for distributing child sexual abuse material, has resigned. “I have decided that it is in the best interest of my family and constituents to resign immediately from the South Carolina House of Representatives,” May wrote in his resignation letter. “It has been an honor to serve the people of District 88.”
