Both the Israelis and Iranians launched last-minute strikes on the other in the hours leading up to the beginning of the truce...

Then the Iranians launched another strike well after the Starting Hour of the Truce...

Then Israel hit a radar facility as a Thank You for the initial breach...

Then both sides quieted-down...

Israel increased strikes right after the ceasefire was announced, which is what pissed TRUMP off. Israel is kinda screwed because TRUMP tabled the Iran nuke issue. If Israel tries to pull the US in further, TRUMP can simply tell Bibi he'll take it to Congress and let them decide on the war.

Considering this is Iran we are dealing with, and in a conflict only days old, if this ceasefire holds and works out, it just might be the more incredible act of foreign affairs in the history of politics, akin to getting Hitler to surrender peacefully during WWII.

At this macro stage, best not to follow every glitch minute by minute but to check in every day or two and see what has held up, what has worked, and what appears lasting.

What really matters is not what Iran and Israel are doing today or tomorrow, but what is going on 6 months from now.

If Trump has actually achieved peace in the Middle East over the next several months, we just might have to name a holiday after Trump.

They've never had much of an Offensive Capability but they are a huge Country surrounded by Mountains on 3 sides and water on the other with two or three deserts in between. And 90 Million people.

So calling them 'defenseless' isn't quite correct. They are, however, incapable of projecting Military Power beyond their borders at thise point.
