No real manager since ******. Larussa was OK on in-game MGT. But his his teams were juiced.....yet he knew nothing on OAK? HIs lIneups were loaded. Yet he won 2?
Shildt was the next possibly good MGR but fired for losing a tight WC game vs. LA? Huh? His team had runners on every inning but could not get a big hit. They were close to dominating that game!
Bring back Mike Shildt. At the ASB.

It’s tough for that fan base (a very loyal one) to see a team that has traditionally been competitive year after year struggle to their worst start in 60+ years.

Must be a curse by the Mormons.
The Cardinals do not get the notoriety like the Yankees and Dodgers have over the many decades. As a Phillie fan they were in the profession for 99 years before they won their first Championship in 1980. It is now 2023 and they have a total of two championships.

since 1980 the phillys have been in 6 WS only winning 2 of them.. so they suck in WS play.....at least they get there every now and then.....
