Oil is the fuel that the world runs on....what is wrong with subsidizing it?...when a government "subsidizes something that has value to the public its not a subsidy....its an investment....why they stopped teaching that in school is a mystery to me.....but many of you here sound like you have never heard that before......now government welfare programs are a subsidy...not an investment....words mean things....

Let me explain it to you: The left considers those tax monies not paid into the government as "subsidies." In other words, corporations are free to invest more of their money into capital equipment, upgrades, and hiring more employees, in exchange for not having to give the government more of their hard-earned money.

What you idiots are calling "subsidies" are not already-collected tax money that the government is giving to those corporations, it is merely less money the government is taking away from those corporations.

Liberals having been claiming "subsidy" for the oil business for years, on the Marxist-inspired notion that its a subsidy to allow the industry to deduct costs and thereby keep a little more of what it earns! But, you buy that only if you are a Socialist. Sane Americans know that a subsidy is what the government gives to an industry to support it---as IS TRUE with Wind farms today. A subsidy is not letting a business keep money that it earns through its endeavors.
