This is great news! Besides Southern universities being generally better by nearly every measure, this migration is bringing the future of business, tech, and energy to the South.

Especially for minority students. The South has integrated much, much better than the northeast and the west coast, where minorities are still viewed largely as "the help", or as tokens to display for propaganda purposes.

I noticed this when I moved from the west coast to Texas. People of different races are more integrated and get along much better here, versus the west coast, where neighborhoods are segregated and races don't mix much, unless they're forced to do so. It's much more organic here.

The South is rising, while the Northeast is dying.

“A recent Wall Street Journal report found that the number of Northerners going to Southern public schools has risen 84% over the past two decades, and jumped 30% from 2018 to 2022.”

“Meanwhile, surveys of recent data from the Common Application…shows that applications to colleges in the South are up 50% since 2019. That compares to a rise of less than 30% for schools located in New England and the Mid-Atlantic.”

Another white person trying to tell us how great things are for minorities somewhere. Posts from X about such things are not credible.

Ah, yet another substance-free post from shithead, IM69.

If God came down to earth to live in America, He would live in the South.

More students go north than south. The 84% is on a small base. The reasons for the shift are numerous:
  • Southern universities have lagged northern universities in quality and are improving.
  • Southern universities like Alabama are offering full scholarships to top student to improve their metrics - free college is enticing
  • Northern universities continue to get more and more competitive as more students apply to multiple colleges the acceptance rate is falling in the North.
  • Southern universities are less selective.
  • Southern universities have long been regional with low out of area enrollment - those days are over as sports has produced many more opportunities to get to know the souther U’s.
  • Collegiate sports in the south is a different experience than the north, generally.

I see this more as northern democrats poisoning the south.

I don't think so. I think people see Jewish and openly Christian students getting assaulted, schools encouraging terrorist propaganda and terrorist action, and backwards racial and gender thinking has taken over coastal universities; and both parents and students want no part of it anymore.

Is IMGAY really black? Do we know this as a matter of fact?

According to Joe Biden, the true arbiter of blackness, being black isn't about your skin color, it's about who you vote for.

"If you don't vote for me, then you ain't black!" -Joe Biden, 2020

Referring to you as "another black person" would be an insult to other Black people.
According to who? Because the other black people in this forum do not seem to have your opinion. So how about you leave the white racist deusion wherenby blacks are happily ignoring racism and agree with your bullshit, because that is not reality.
