I've heard Biden is going to try just that. The thing is, people are burning out on all day Chinese virus news already, and a Democrat whine-fest will be a political loss leader. As Trump Approval Soars, Rachel Maddow and Others In Media Call for Blackout of President's Coronavirus Briefings

Three polls released late this week show a majority of Americans approve of President Trump’s handling of the COVID-19 Chinese coronavirus crisis. The approval numbers have risen as as Trump has led daily televised press briefings on the government’s response to the virus. By coincidence a call has gone out by liberals, led by MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow.
The calls for the blackout also come as reporters are making spectacles of themselves with gotcha questions such as whether it is racist to use the term ‘Chinese virus’ when the virus originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan, or asking Trump if he his giving people false hope.


Comment:
Does the media think we are that we Americans are stupid? Don't they know that they are really attacking the work of two agencies crammed full of Obama leftovers and lifelong Clintonistas (NIH and CDC)?
When some political science gurus do a study a year or so from now showing that media drove moderates into the open arms of the Trump 2020 campaign over their biased coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic, how will they spin that?
The LSM are just too ideologically biased, arrogant, and hateful to do the right thing, even in the middle of a pandemic. Critical thinking is far beyond their limited abilities.
Then there's the fear monger Mayor Desgraciado of NYC who wants to shut down the city Then there's the Senator from New York who continues to spread fear.
