Just talking to a Marine classmate. He was heldover by stop-loss on 9-11(he was just retrning from overseas on that day) and went to Afghan and Iraq.

We're trying to figure out the legitimacy of stop-loss. In his words: "I signed a contract saying I'm giving this much time. I can't break the contract. Why can the goverment?"

He said they were ALL pretty pissed when they got held over having just arrived back in Hawaii.
