Speaing of Australia, Haniya, have they ever brought to light how many Shia are moving to their country because the Shia are so tired of the Sunnis blowing them up in Pakistan? By framing the 'discussion' in terms strictly of religion, the OP is leaving itself open to charges of anti-Semitism.

It's entirely NOT accurate to suggest that Palestinian children are being singled out for harsh treatment because they are not Jewish: the fact that they often gather by the dozens to throw rocks at cars with Israeli plates is probably the reason much of the time.

If settlers - which is really 'extremist neo-fascists', and yes some of those the world over are Jews (no religion vaccinates a person against that: witness the 'Amish Mafia'!) - if SOME settlers are seeking out Palestinian children to attack, they are wrong of course and it needs to be dealt with. There is no excuse for the Israeli authorities to look the other way, no.

As for 'two different systems' - in how many countries all around the world are some citizens treated differently from others?

How many Australian children were ripped away from their families and their homes to be raised in government-run "orphanages" where they were beaten if they spoke their mother tongue?

What citizenship do the children hold, the ones taken off the streets in the night by the military, in so many Latin American countries?

Is 'justice' the same for everyone in the US, regardless of their ethnicity or income?

When no other nation has such glaring deficiencies, then we can all be as scandalized as the OP wishes about Israel's failures.
