Steve Bannon nails it -- twice in a row

There's going to be some major cleaning going on, and there will be mistakes made,
but they are trying to do the right things for the people.

That’s the farthest thing from their minds.

These people are not competent to manage anything.

They’re all yes men, right wing media entertainers, and gangsters.

They are court jesters. Not managers. Not one of them would have gotten anywhere near a competent leader.

They will put on a clown show for you to admire on Fox Noise.

Of course, the Fox audience will be delighted and never notice or care that nothing really actually changes.

That’s the best we can hope for.

I think they should start with low-hanging fruit to streamline the bloated government: Require all workers to show up at the office 5 days a week, like regular people do. I bet half of all those over age 60 will quit instead, and then the work can be distributed among those who remain.

For example, I know a GS-14 step 10 ($150K a year) who bought a beach house in Delaware at least five years ago. He is mid-60s and holds onto his job because he’s being paid generously for very little effort, and his “sacrifice” is driving the 3 hours on Tuesday evening, staying in a modest motel, working all day Wednesday, and then driving home that night. He is the beach house six nights a week - and Thursday morning through Tuesday afternoon is basically a vacation.

And there are MANY government workers who have done the same thing - moved out far, and commute in once a week. They will all quit.

Elon Musk and Vivek are pretty damn competent. They didn’t become billionaires by being ineffective.

Another superficial moron. ^^^

Yeah, the title was not particularly easy for me to type. Anyway, in trying to gain a better personal understanding of the perceptions and opinions of others (yes, many of us do that pretty regularly), I'm watching a 2.5 hour interview with Steve Bannon, recorded in 2019.

Early on (VERY early on), he makes two very important points:

1. I've seen MANY people here, usually of one particular political persuasion, contend that the 2008 Meltdown was not that big a deal. Bannon, formerly of Goldman Sachs, does a good, quick, off-the-cuff job of describing how and why we literally came hours from total economic global catastrophe. Businesses around the country were about to run out of cash. Very few people know this story: At 6:42-9:52

2. Then, the next thing he talks about populism and its danger (although I doubt he meant to put it quite in this way): at 10:26, he says "every financial crisis, I think, in at least modern history, is always followed by some kind of populism. Now, sometime that devolves into fascism..."

This is out of Bannon's own mouth. I'm not making a prediction, I'm just pointing out that we need to proceed with care and thought and intelligence, and not a caveman, break-it-all approach. And that's my concern with this mess. That's one of my primary worries about Trumpism.

He’s right, and 12 of the last 16 years we have been driving closer and closer that, and frankly are on the brink until the american people fully rejected it this November.

BOTH political party's work in self interest, donners, and party.
Take the money out, Look at the honesty & quality of experience each elected brings to the post.
Are they working for AMERICA? If not WHY are they there.
