State Dept. tells employees to report on one another for 'anti-Christian bias'

ā€˜The Trump administration has ordered State Department employees to report on any instances of coworkers displaying ā€œanti-Christian biasā€ as part of its effort to implement a sweeping new executive order on supporting employees of Christian faith working in the federal government.’

Authoritarianism spreads through the fascist Trump regime.
Alleged Christian bigotry was alive and well durng the last administration. Should these allegations continue to be ignored? Or should action be taken to address the problem?

An internal cable, sent under Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s name to embassies worldwide, instructs staff to submit detailed reports via anonymous tip forms, with a deadline of April 18, 2025. After that a task force will look into the allegations and if found to be true, they'll take action. Seems fair to me. Not everything is authoritarian. Give that word a rest.

Seems ā€œfairā€ if you live in a theocracy like Iran or Gilead

If a State Department employee brings his husband to the department picnic, will they be ejected?

If a female employee constantly brings up her wife in the break room, will she be disciplined?

If an employee turns down their boss's invitation to attend Sunday worship with him, will they face consequences?
If an employee calls women who don't cover their faces whores and pigs, should they be discoplined.

Yes, separation of church and state. State employees have no right to be biased against religious belief.

If there was separation of church and state you have it backwards.

You can worship as you choose. Do not project your religion on me.

State employees criticizing religion are violating the establishment clause because they are projecting their anti religion belief which is biased. They need to just STFU and do their jobs.

That’s the point of making sure govt isn’t bias against a particular group

So if you don’t SUPPORT ā€œChristiansā€ you are biased?

That sounds like a breach of the church/state wall there.

I would expect that IGNORING another person’s beliefs (if you don’t agree with or support them) is fine.

Apparently it is subject to being ratted out anonymously

More projection

Of course someone has the right to project their religion on you. An individual isn’t the state.

The govt however can’t, nor can they show bias towards a particular religion.

Hack Reporter to REPUB Politician: Do you support the Bush Doctrine.

REPUB Politician: I'm not sure what that is...can you explain it to me ?

Hack Reporter to REPUB Politician: I'm not sure what it is either but everyone is talking about it.

Bob Dylan: "You have many contacts among the lumberjacks to get you facts when someone attacks your imagination

But nobody has any respect, anyway they already expect you to all give a check to tax-deductible charity organizations

But something is happening here and you don't know what it is. Do you, Mr. Jones ?"

If someone greets another person with, "Happy Holidays!" will they be fired?

I should hope so. We're not paying them to sit around greeting each other. They want to greet someone, do it on their own time.

I’m against religion being involved in government
Are you against a religious person being in govt?
Are you against govt being bias against people that are religious?

What do you consider government Nia against religious individuals?

No one has the right to project their religion on me.

Think what you want. Feel what you .

I don’t care and don’t expect me to care or act the way you would like me to act
