I've been reading a lot lately on this subject and the general consensus seems to be they're healthier than one like I'm sitting at right now. I've got to find a way to set the monitor so I can try it.

This comes from a story in my hometown newspaper: Standing desks become newest change to help students' health @ Standing desks become newest change to help students' health

You?

I could not concentrate on reading standing up. It's going to depend on the individual,, as to whether their grades suffer or not.

Standing desks are about health, not grades.

Put a small tread mill as the base of your elevated desk.

Walk at one mile per hour during the day.

You will be astounded at the results.

My keyboard is on my workshop bench at 40 inches. The monitor is wall mounted.

I use one in the office (on it now) I LOVE it. I can also lower it via a little control "panel" on the edge of desk. I've been using one for a good year two years now, best thing I ever did.
