South Carolina Gamecocks are college football's best team if healthy, Sellers the QB will be top 5 NFL Draft pick

Hardly conclusive evidence in on that subject. Vince Young was OROY. Aaron Rodgers sat on the bench for three years.

Caleb Williams has yet to really wow. Daniels has a few times, but his accuracy isn't that good, and QBs in NFL just do not last long running a lot. Maye has been lousy. Bo Nix is in the right system for Bo Nix, but his ceiling is low, and I don't see him winning a lot of games in January. What is good for DEN is the defense. ATL QB from UW hasn't played much. MN QB from Mich got hurt.
Is Rattler starting? No and it isnt because Derek Carr is great or that the Saints are "in the hunt" it's because he was objectively bad in the 3 starts he got when Carr was injured.

If it was up to me, the Conference Championships would be playoff games, so yeah, out...

So either Oregon or OSU is out but PSU and Indiana are in because they werent good enough to make it to the conference championship? UT or UGA are out but South Carolina gets shot?

Well we lost our Conference Championship (at home) but we won the national championship... against the same team.... boring and wrong.

2 separate "tournaments" why should one negate the other? Also why should I as a team even want to play in the conference champ game? If Im OSU, Texas, or UGA Im looking for a way to not play in that game and still make the playoff under your system. OSU 100% would get in even if they lost a close game to UM. Texas as well with just 2 losses.
20 years ago OU was blown out by K-St in their CC, and then got blown out again by USC in the NC, because THEY NEVER SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THERE OVER AUBURN.

If you lose your Conference Championship, you are OUT. That's the best policy. Then there is no arguing about who is TOP 4 because those 4 all won CC and hence already played a playoff game. 8 other slots for the "dark horses" like the Chickens this year.
Why should South Carolina who plays in the SEC get a shot at the PO's (and a NC) but the team who played and lost in the SEC championship game (because they were better than South Carolina) be excluded? A team who wasnt good enough to win their Conf Champ game shouldnt get a chance at the Natty but a team who wasnt good enough to even make it is? LOL.
We'll see about Sat. Clemson is good. Chickens are better.

Again South Carolina isnt in if they win. They have to win AND get help. They might even be ranked 11 or 12 if they beat Clemson on Saturday, but they still wont get in over Az State if they win out and win their Conf Champ game.

he was objectively bad

I never get too excited about rookie QBs. Rattler was up and down with a depleted supporting cast.

Because CCs should be playoff games and they lost, so they are out.

South Carolina with healthy Sellers at QB is wrecking good teams week after week. They are 15 on CFP rankings and Clemson is 12. The game is at Clemson. If SC wins big, it would be crazy not to put them in the PO because THEY CAN WIN IT ALL and they have shown that when Sellers is healthy.

Loss to LSU was 100% about Sellers getting hurt. Chickens were blowing out LSU when he got hurt.

Odd

Olave had 2 catches in the first game with Rattler as QB and 8 in the 3rd game

Hill had catches in the 3rd game and 4 carries.

Shaheed and Kamara played all 3 games.

Are you really saying not having the back up center is the reason he played like dog shit?

Remind me did they win or lose that game?

BTW Big 12 Champ is an auto bid so....

Clemson just scored a touchdown to take the lead 14-7. There is plenty of game left to be played, but I don't see either of these teams as national champions even if one of them makes the playoffs.

Neither of them is making the playoffs more than likely, regardless of who wins. Unless a number of teams in the top 10 lose today opening up spots for them.

Clemson only needs for one team to lose if they manage to beat South Caroline.

Yeah but none of those teams are playing someone they are going lose to. I’m also not convinced they wouldn’t put Alabama in over either SC or Clemson if that were to happen.

Ok, they get Gamecocks in the title, that's it. The Chickens with Sellers were beating up LSU badly, and then Sellers got hurt. He returned at Bama, and they almost won. Since then... wow...

35-9 over OU
44-20 over A&M
28-7 over Vandy

Nobody wants to play the Chickens right now the way they are playing. They are the best team at this moment, except they had a few losses when Sellers was hurt.

Sellers is Cam Newton with a better arm.

Lets not get carried away

SC is good but not that good

maybe so

But there will be several teams in the 12 team playoff that are not as good as SC
Which ones? The current top 11 are. Maybe Indiana or SMU? There are teams that will finish outside the top 12 that definitely can. Ole Miss and Alabama have already beaten them.

The Big 12 or ACC champion

The Big 12 or ACC champion
They aren’t beating Miami and it’s questionable if they could run with AZ state. I don’t think AZ state finishes top 12 anyway. They will get the auto bid though.

Its just a matter of opinion

If they dont play we’ll never know for sure

Miami lost to Syracuse. If I'm not mistaken, that puts Clemson playing for the ACC championship.

6 wins in a row. All against good teams too.

Miami and Clemson out, SC and da Tayde in.... that's what should happen.
