Even you would clearly understand that our military is not stupid and has been trained on this information and that they needed no reminder. In fact, they are trying to get the military to second-guess a lawful order.

Why are they doing this? Lots of reasons, but the main one is that when they disagree with a foreign policy, they just have to say, "That isn't a legitimate order," and expect the military to stop and question its legitimacy.

That will cost our military 100s if not 1000s of lives over the course of the following decades or more.
