Somalian malitias have given World Food Program workers major ultimatum.
Either pay $20,000.00 thousand dollars protection money, and remove female workers, or leave the country.

The WFP has deceided to leave Somalia, thus endangering over 1 million people with starvation.

$20,000 protection money could instead go towards 80,000 meals. There is nothing that the WFP can do and there is no reason for them to trust those in Somalia who threaten them. It may start at $20,000 now, but soon enough one will be taken hostage and then come the million dollar hostages.
