If we had ever wanted to change Cuba we would have opened them to full free trade and travel with the US.

That would raise problems for which they have never had a solution.

The definition of socialism requires social ownership of the means of production.

We don't have any of that in the US.

So, I can only guess that your direction is to maximize your personal wealth while allowing others to die.
