If you want to ascribe to a Deity the initial formation of the universe and it's laws, that is fine. Science does not address that. However, to ascribe to a Deity things that we can see are natural events only creates disdain for religious faith. Right now, abiogenesis for the life we see here has many possible paths to the point where it is self replicating life. We are getting closer to the answers as to what was the most likely path as the research goes on.
Perhaps. But then, it was once believed the Earth was flat and carried on the backs of giant elephants and a turtle.
"Possible paths" and "Most likely" doesn't quite cut it, eh?
All things, including the simple fact of existence, have an originating cause. What was the first cause?
