All we kept hearing in 2020 was that people were coming out in droves against Trump. Here is again four years later and it should have been a slam dunk for Democrats.

I think the gap will end up being around six million, because there are five million CA votes yet to come and about 600,000 left in AZ. so that would put us at 148 million. Other states combined probably wouldn't total a million.

But the point is six million is a ton of votes. Combine that with the fact that the US population has increased 19 million since 2020. If you extrapolate the voting population vs the total population, it's just under 50 percent, so that means at least nine million more people should have voted in 2024 vs 2020. Unless of course much of that population gain were illegals. Trump will end up getting the expected number of votes relative to 2020, about 76 million. But Harris will get at least nine million less than Biden.

So you can certainly make the case 10 million more people voted than should have in 2020.

Your excellent graphic on the 19 bellwether counties is the most damning evidence of all. The little bedwetter Nate Silver tried explaining the fact that Trump could win 18 of 19 bellwether and still lose. He said demographics have changed and those bellwethers are no long applicable. Well, Shazam. He just got proven wrong.

Democrats pitched this election as the election of the century, with democracy in the balance. Record registrations were recorded. So the notiion that "people just didn't show" this year doesn't wash.

Also is the fact that the down ballot favored the Republicans both years, which again undermines the 2020 presidential result. The Alzheimer's patient got blown out in 2020. The only possible conclusion is massive cheating.

That argument never made sense because trump gained votes in 2020. Only second time in history that happened. An incumbent gaining votes and losing reelection.
Coincidentally, the first time it happened, that president, Grover Cleveland, went on to win the next election just as trump has.
