Highest peak was during Reagan and the lowest peaks were during Clinton and Bush... Now answer me this and do you understand that local and state governments can do more to fix the Unemployment issue than the Federal Government or do you believe that President Obama can fix everything or has messed up everything?

The O/P is an idiot......

If you DO look at the years a bit more objectively than what a 7 years old would do, you too would see the causal effects of the Clinton years (for example) and how they benefited the GWB years as he fucked up the economy with unpaid wars, unpaid Medicare Advantage and HUGE tax cuts to his cronies.....

Trump is basically a "gambler"......and that's not necessarily bad for a businessman (especially when there's the parachute of bankruptcy courts)...........BUT the Trumpster is asking for blacks to also gamble on their own welfare and blacks MUST always remember not to trust the one moron who actually FUNDED the birther movement insinuating that a half-black man could NOT legitimately be sitting in the oval office.

Isn't it amazing how Obama came in and continued the policies that W used to fuck up the economy to fix them? You never saw the cards Obama stuffed up his sleeves, did you"?

No idiot.......In the midst of a world-wide recession one small step away from a depression, did you expect Obama to raise the taxes back to pre-Bush years???

I would agree that he should have proposed raising taxes at the beginning of his second term, but good luck with that amid this DO-NOTHING congress.

Okay, since you can't seem to read a simple graph, I'll spell it out.
Carter: highest Black Unemployment.

Reagan: Decline in unemployment drops dramatically.

Bush: Decline continues.

Clinton: Decline continues after he adopted REPUBLICAN welfare reform

Bush: Decline continues for blacks until the Clinton housing bubble bursts.

Obama: Democrat. Worst unemployment for blacks since CARTER (Democrat).

Think outside the box. The life you improve will be your own.

One of the major drivers of black unemployment is the post-Carter deindustrialization that started with Reagan and continued under Clinton.

The goal of Reaganomics was to liberate corporations from the high production costs of American manufacturing, which was subject to high union wages and expensive environmental regulations.

Put simply, Nike investors make more money when their sneaks are made by Taiwanese peasants making pennies a day in factories that don't have to make expensive upgrades to avoid polluting rivers/drinking water.

Globalization not only lowered the wages of the white working class but it decimated blacks, who occupied the lowest rung.

Trump, who gets his ties made in Mexico for a reason, says he is going to bring the factories back - but he has yet to explain what the higher production costs would do to incentives.

The OP is advised to read Capitalism & Freedom, written by Milton Friedman, Reagan's economic guru. Friedman said that capital should be allowed to cut the American worker out of the loop because capitalists could make higher profits in freedom hating countries because said countries had deeply oppressed workers who could be paid far, far less than Americans. Friedman said that the promise of higher returns (a promise made possible by low labor costs) would incentivize the required capital investment that creates great things. [You get this right? The promise of the highest possible returns (made possible by the lowest possible production costs) is the point of capitalism. It is called self-interest]

This is why Reagan dismantled our great postwar manufacturing base, essentially turning parts of our great cities into ghettos with large superfluous black populations who couldn't find work.

But it gets worse. People without jobs or hope are more likely to engage in criminal activity. This is why Reagan created the War on Drugs, to give law enforcement more tools to put the disruptive have nots in cages.

But I digress.

If you think Trump is going to peel manufacturing from the world's cheapest labor markets, and if you don't understand what that would do to the incentives of suppliers, not to mention the price of goods, I have some Trump ties to sell you.

As an example, the CRUELEST stunt by Trump is to "promise" coal workers that their jobs will be in demand if he becomes president.......Its one thing to lie to poor folks, its a much more cruel lie to give false hope.

You spell it out beautifully.

Unfortunately, this is too complicated for the 26% Free Shit Black Army to grasp.

The most imbecilic and empty "defense" by right wingers regarding Trump's tax returns boils down to,"....but, but, but, Hillary..."
