We still do not know how Crooks got onto the roof. The officer himself was vaulted onto the roof but had to drop down when Crooks turned with his weapon apparently to shoot at him. He radioed in the threat. Presumably this is when we see the snipers drop down to look through their scopes.

Though I still maintain that the kill shot was lined up for some time before it was taken.

After seeing the officer Crooks was hurried and probably had little time to take a good bead...he shot within seconds of being confronted. After the fifth shot his head snapped back with the impact of the counter sniper's bullet. Had he not been confronted it seems obvious that he would have settled in and taken his time to aim more carefully.

God moves in mysterious ways .
Or ,
it was all scripted but not as well rehearsed as it should have been .

For me it was so full of blunders that I doubt Trump was shot and as a faction Leader within Deep State he was part of the theatre .
I don't think Trump was part of it, nobody is going to hire someone to take a William Tell near Miss shot at his head with a high-powered rifle.

Apparently the only reason he's still alive is because the officer interrupted the shooter before he got a chance to settle in properly.

It still looks like the snipers had him in their sights before he even pulled the trigger but it's hard to say at this point. I'm still wondering how he got to the rooftop maybe it was from inside the building and that's why nobody saw him climbing up the side of the building. They only saw him once he was on the roof.

It's possible that they had to wait for a go command to pull the trigger. There's no question that a piece of Trump's ear is missing You could see it plainly in the photo.

In the usual gun debates, gun nuts claim they need such large magazines because they can't hit a barn door, they're not accurate. So Crooks had that against him too. So that'll have helped Trump too.

I'm not an expert on assault rifles for sure. All of my experience with range shooting
was done with run of the mill scope rifles most of which were already there at the range for rent.

At 500 yards The lower energy 22 caliber bullets were subject to windage and some measure of drop so you had to adjust for those if you were going to try to hit the bullseye.

I'm being told by people who know much more than I do about assault rifles that the rifle the kid used has a high measure of accuracy over a longer distances. He chose the right weapon for a sniper.

All we know for certain is that Lee Harvey Crooks acted alone

You gotta think, why does a developed civilised society need sniper rifles. So it's either a third world and/or not civilised.

I sure as hell would like to know how he got on the roof without being seen climbing up the side of the building. I'm in favor of an indoor roof access but then again he would have had to get inside first. The officer who confronted him was vaulted up by a couple of his buddies apparently until he was able to pull himself up over the edge.

How did he know that there were no countersnipers on THAT roof?

On day one of the security planning for the Trump Rally, all nearby rooftops should have been designated for sniper vantage points. How on Earth do you leave that roof open?
