So, should the families of plantation owners killed by slaves be given reparations also?
True, the slaves were powerless and could get no justice for the crimes committed against them by their owners, so who can blame them for paying them back by killing them?
But the point I want to make is
Reparations for past injustices are ridiculous and there would never be an end to the lawsuits filed and it would bankrupt the country.
Catholics were persecuted and not hired when they first came to this country. Their great grandchildren could demand reparations also...
Again, it would bankrupt the country and destroy many people's economic situations, so I'm just trying to draw attention to how ridiculous reparations are..
