I recently watched him interview Jesse Ventura and Piers just does such a great job of keeping the conversation on track... Jesse was rational for the most part and much of what is appealing about him is the same as what resonates with Ted, so they remind me of each other in that way...And boy was I cracking up toward the end of the interview when Piers let him rant on an irrational tangent, and then Piers quipped in that British accent, "well, now you've gone a bit crackers haven't you?" Great interview if you can find it.




Oh look! I still haven't watched, but I found that he did indeed interview Ted!

OP merely called out the guy on his quote to the press, and inserted his opinion of the two options from Nugent. OP opted for the one that didn't hurt someone else.
