They told British citizens, give us your guns and you will be safer...especially from gun violence.....

And they did.... and their gun murder rate went up, not down, and their gun violence rates keep going up, not down, and their violent crime rates keep going up...

I don't think they understood that taking guns away from people who don't use them for crime, won't lower your gun crime rates...

One man shot and another stabbed in spate of Bank Holiday violence

Police are investigating a shooting and a separate stabbing in London as a weekend of Bank Holiday weekend violence continued.

Officers were called to the first incident at 4.38pm, a stabbing, in Leytonstone Road, Stratford, where a victim - aged 17 - was taken to hospital.

Shortly after at 4.50pm, police were called to a shooting in John Williams Close, New Cross Gate. The victim, a 30-year-old man, is being treated at the scene and remains in a critical condition.


The incidents come in the wake of a shooting the day before in which a 13-year-old and 15-year-old were injured after being shot in Harrow.
