Losing trust? The CIA has fucked with the American public for far longer than I've been alive...and I'm over 50. Things like MKUltra are NOT conspiracy theories. They have been publicly admitted to and declassified...and probably renamed and continued in some other form in total secrecy ILLEGALLY. So this loss of trust has actually been warranted for a long long time... Not just in the wake of the events of the past 20 years.

Then there are things like the assassination of JFK. Even local police departments have their operatives who were in on stuff like that....and they had the quiet support of the intelligence community which groomed them into their roles. Corrupt politicians and police are the result as much as the cause. Most of our politicians are puppets, not just of business people with money but of a deep state which has it's deepest roots in the intelligence community. Thus, producing people like George H.W. Bush and his New World Order.

That is all our hope, but a corrupt government agency that investigates itself will exonerate itself pretty much every time. Or if it admits to finding wrong doing or problems, it will declare that fixed and no longer a problem.

No matter how much investigation a GOP House majority does, it will have almost no effect with a Democrat controlled media that won't report it, and a Justice Dept. that won't indict anybody but Republicans of any crimes.

No matter what responsible legislation a GOP House majority passes, it won't get much if any honest coverage from that Democrat controlled media and it is unlikely Schumer will even bring it to a vote, much less that a Democrat controlled Senate will pass it or Biden will sign it.

A Justice Dept. wholly in bed with the Democrats isn't going to hold their own accountable and that Justice Dept. isn't going to look for any corruption in the electoral process, and Democrat controlled state houses and legislatures are not going to clean it up.

Even Republicans that lack courage, vision, and purpose are not likely to fight for meaningful reforms. We've seen that again and again.

The only solution is:
--Elect majorities of responsible Republicans/Patriots with courage, vision, and dedication to the law and the Constitution and the good of the American people and who will reform the process and system.
--Reform the court system so that it judges according to the law again instead of ideology.
--People like Elon Musk or others with common sense and a dedication to truth need to buy the big media conglomerates and return them to responsible journalism again.
--Federal government and federal unions should be taken out of public education completely.
--The profit motive should be taken out of the federal and state governments to make it much more difficult for elected/appointed officials to enrich themselves in their jobs so that we elect public servants to office again instead of professional politicians and opportunists.

No argument from me there. Good people have to support good laws when they pass, defend those who pass them, and push back on corrupt politicians and media who misrepresent what they pass.

Might take a minute, but hopefully it can be restored. The main focus to begin the hopefully short way back IMO, is to protect at all cost the whistleblower's. Not the crooked whistleblower's who are informant's for the dark side, but the good whistleblower's instead.

Fighting crime is huge when it comes to the protection of the whistleblower's, otherwise that bring truth to the table instead of lie's. After that the law should protect at all cost the whistleblower's who risked their live's and sometimes family's live's trying to help keep law and order with their first hand knowledge given. Betrayal of the whistleblower's who are putting their live's at risk, is the most immoral henious disgusting act ever. It lead's directly to the fall of civilized society.
