I went to bed on election eve after Ohio was declared for Obama.

And he won the nationwide popular vote by a comfortable margin.

So it wasn't really that close an election.

Only battleground state Romney won was North Carolina.

This country is in trouble.

Nothing...it is going to be a bigger factor in 2016. The GOP needs to reach out to many groups, that up until now, have hardly been an afterthought. They need to walk away from the Tea Party and become a more inclusive party. But I am not sure they can do that.
