Zone1 So Everybody but Christians Have Rights?

Take the hypocrisy challenge! Answer these three questions, yes or no. Add explanations if you like.

1. Should it be legal for a Christian business owner to refuse service to gays?

2. Should it be legal for a Jewish business owner to refuse service to Nazis?

3. Should it be legal for any business owner to refuse service to people wearing MAGA hats?

It's inaccurate speech is what it is as is almost all use of hyperbole. Just like your use of "excessively emphatic" is inaccurate speech. The word you are looking for is exaggeration or hyperbole.
Ding, a theologian and a grammarian you are not, but I do love reading your posts. Keep it up.

Thanks, but it's important to say what you mean and to mean what you say. As for being a theologian, nah... I just like to look at all sides of an issue before forming opinions. As for being a grammarian, it was more like I was being accurate. It had nothing to do with grammar and everything to do with logic.

Sure, ding, sure. Just keep being you. And may you and yours have a great 2025.

No to all three. But they can choose to provide poor service or not. ;)

Congrats! You're not a hypocrite. You're a statist, which is arguably worse.
How would that make me a statist, whatever that is?

Wouldn't an anarchist be worse?

Actually it's legal for any business owner to deny service to anybody at any time for anything. Should it be legal? Yeah, if it's your business. Other people may not like it or agree with it but my point still stands. Even for your third question.

No, it is not absolute like that.

Unfortunately, you're right. Certain unpopular biases are illegal. You can't refuse service because of someone's religion for example. But you can refuse service because they dress funny, or because they're fat, or because of where they live, or pretty much anything else. As long as it's not on the current list of biases that are targeted for suppression.

Jesus died to remove our sin. And I don't have to bake a cake for anybody I don't want to. My beach, my waves...

jesus died as the same choice made by a&e - their own self determination - than servitude to the serpent moses and their 10 commandments.
