So a national election just occurred. Trump overwhelmingly won the counties in huge numbers, a legit district landslide. What are Dems "resisting"?

During the opening days of Donald Trump’s first term as president, a source summoned me to a quiet cafe. There, he slipped me a copy of a draft Trump executive order that would ban people from several Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S. “It’s crazy,” he said. “It doesn’t make sense.”

We all knew Trump had pledged to bar Muslims from U.S. shores. But the draft order was full of legal holes. I remember thinking it would never become a reality because, surely, the lawyers would stop it. But within days, the ban took effect, spawning chaos at airports, lawsuits and confusion among many U.S. officials who, although tasked with enforcing it, knew nothing about it.

What happens to DoJ employees who oppose illegal policies?

Girl, you are such an idiot.
You're the moron here, knuckledragger.
How do you think Trump got his pennies to campaign?
It sure wasn't the "little guy". :)
It was those upper echelon millionaires and their corps that bailed Skippy out. :)

What illegal policies?

Consider the number of counties won and provide that percentage. I guarantee it is well over 50%. The Dems have a stranglehold on every major urban population center in America. That is a large percentage of the country which is in the bag.

If the situation was reversed in terms of demographic disbursement and media coverage, Trump would have won 65% of the popular vote. The GOP shouldn't even be able to win the popular vote anymore.
232,606 votes across the three main blue wall states that Trump won in 2016 (he did a lot better over those three states this year). 46 electoral votes. But it still isn't anywhere near a landslide. Oh..and counties don't count in the final vote tally..the whole state does. And open and sparsely populated land doesn't constitute a majority.

GOP Mandate

Not even close. But they'll try to govern like they do..when they don't.
It's gonna be a lot of fun watching this administration fall flat on its face. :)
House, senate, White House, state offices, massive red wave and mandate

What illegal policies?
It was a hypothetical question asked about what DoJ employees should do if they are asked to carry out an illegal policy like the first Muslim ban. Should they knowingly violate the law in order to follow a directive they've been given? Cuz it sounds like that's what will be expected of them if they want to keep their jobs in a new trump admin.

Again, snap out of it, slugger. :)
Senate election numbers that always favored Republicans this year. (BTW, that flips in the next two election cycles so Repubs better not fuck it up).
A razor thin majority in the House (good luck with that coalition).
And look at that, Trump got lucky...again. Once again a large sections of Dem voters stayed home..and that was the difference.

No mandate here. Just another squeaker. And I expect Trump will be doing a lot of squeaking over the next four years.

Complete mandate. This might be end of the demafasict party once and for all

The travel ban was perfectly legal.

Don't get too much of a boner over your fantasies here. You have no mandate.
Again, these things come and go in cycles. Hell, there is no Republican party anymore. It's The Trump Party...and there's no coming back from that. :)

There is no coming back, that I agree. This may actually be the end of the demafasict party one and for all

On the contrary, an unbridled trump presidency is going to be the of the POT with the consequent result being the re-emergence of the GOP.

Sounds like you have had a lot of pot today
