America’s sweetheart Tom Hanks was crucified by conservatives over his “disgusting” portrayal of a simple, Trump-supporting racist on the “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary special.

The two-time Academy Award winner returned to the stage Sunday night as “Doug” — a dumb, MAGA hat-wearing contestant on the recurring bit “Black Jeopardy,” where the butt of the joke is Hanks’ character and the black contestants discovering their similarities.

During the sketch, Doug, who first appeared on the comedy show in 2016, refuses to shake hands with the game show host, Darnell Hayes, played by “SNL” longtimer Kenan Thompson.

Comment:
The Democrats love to wallow in their tired old stereotypes of Mainstream Americans.
Ironically it is Hanks who has the intolerance and prejudice problem.
In general, the Hollywood Democrats loath the mainstream middle-class people who live in the heartland outside of the east coast and west coast.

America’s sweetheart Tom Hanks was crucified by conservatives over his “disgusting” portrayal of a simple, Trump-supporting racist on the “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary special.

Ironically it is Hanks who has the intolerance and prejudice problem.
In general, the Hollywood Democrats loath the mainstream middle-class people who live in the heartland outside of east coast and west coast.

Thanks for illuminating which of the "Hollow-wood elites" I will no long esteem or support.

Very disappointed that the man who portrayed noble characters in films like "Forest Gump" and "Saving Private Ryan" is a traitor to basic USA ideals and principles.

Hanks just joined my "Who needs them?" and would be a prime candidate for a new "Immigrate vs Emmigrate" policy/program where anti-American malcontents are swapped for pro-America foreigners who wish to come here.

Judging by the crowd reaction sounds like they didn't find it funny. The 2016 skit was pretty good. But the 50th anniversary skit fell flat on its face. The 2016 skit was about a Trump supporter that had more in common with black people than he realized. This latest skit was just blatant Trump hate. But where the writers failed is Trump is pretty popular right now and no one cares for those jokes, not even Democrats apparently.
