So the homosexual community took the word "gay", which means happy, and changed its meaning to mean "homosexual", which means "same sex" and that's okey doakey but to use the word "homosexual", which means "same sex", is insulting because homosexuals don't like the term which actually describes them.

I use the term homosexual and heterosexual because those terms distinguish between same sex and opposite sex.
How is it that gay means homosexual and straight means heterosexual anyway?
