Since Hollywood has run out of ideas what movies would you never want to see remade?

They cannot even do a climate disaster movie right....

What happens if there is a Yellowstone sized volcano under Antarctic ice and it goes off???

20 foot ocean rise in a week....

Since we're on crappy 80's movies that we wouldn't want to see remade. :)

EDIT - I find it amusing that Flash played for the Jets. :auiqs.jpg:

The Wizard of Oz should definitely not be remade. In the 2020's, we don't have nearly enough musically talented midgets to fill all of the roles. Further, the Wicked Witches use of poppies, a noted opioid wouldn't be tolerated especially when given to a minor child like Dorothy and the dog.

Not to mention the shit you'd get from PETA for the animal abuse against those flying monkeys. :)

I pretty much don't approve of remakes at all. Most of the remakes I've ever seen that I liked still actually go way back! I'm talking movies from the 40s that were remade in the 70s.... Such as Cannery Row And The Postman Always Rings Twice. Other than those and maybe a couple of others here and there I think most remakes are pure garbage and all people participating in them need to be stamped into the dirt by a herd of a thousand angry bison.

Has it ever been said how many midgets were in the film?

God bless you always!!!

For me it would be The Final Countdown.....No way they could properly recreate the Tomcat porn. ;)

Can't speak to never but I'd love to see a Calvin & Hobbs movie.

It could be a combination live action and CGI. The gags have already been written. It's just a matter of working a storyline and let Calvin be Calvin.

124 midgets were cast in the film. I don't think they could find that many dwarves who could sing and dance nowadays.

Would that many even be necessary? Half of that number would be 62. I wonder if even that many could be found.

God bless you always!!!

P.S. I used to work with a really short lady, but sadly she is not here anymore. Her name was Laura.

very few remakes are as good as the original . however some sequels are pretty good .

This matter led me to wonder how many short people are in the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory film.

God bless you always!!!

P.S. I never did see the 2005 remake. How many were in it?
